Friendship Fright is a non-profit fundraiser event created back in 2016 by Nathan Phaenephom with the help of Michelle Isabel.

This even served as the basis for Nathan’s event production and social media management.

It is now maintained by (As of 10/2025) John Genthner.

Teen giving back to community

“When a local teenager decided he was too old to go trick-or-treating on Halloween, he came up with an idea to give back to a program he and his family have extensive experience with. Fourteen-year-old Nathan Phaenephom decided in September to gather the community together for a fundraiser on Halloween…”

A spooky collection of items includes a green skull of Medusa, a skull with a top hat, a framed portrait of a woman, an ornate candelabra with three red-tipped candles, and a human skull, all arranged on a black cloth.

Friendship Fright set for Oct. 26-27
